Shihan Kenneth Freeman,SR.

Shihan Kenneth Freeman,SR. started his training in the Martial Arts in 1967 at a local YMCA in Camden, NJ. During this time he met a friend who was training in GOJU-RYU Karate in the basement of a church in North Camden. His friend invited him to train and meet his instructor, Ramon Nunez,Sensei. Since 1968 Master Freeman has been training with Sieko Sheehan Ramon Nunez, 10th Degree Black Belt in the arts of Aki-Jujitsu, Jujitsu, and Aikido and has earned the rank of Hachi-Dan Kyoshi, 8th Degree Black Belt in the art of GOJU-RYU.

Master Freeman has focused on the varioous techniques of the GOJU-RYU style, ones that best demonstrate grappling, strikes, and kicks, and blended them with Boxing, Jujitsu, and Aikido techniques forming thte unique style which he has named


As a Black Belt instructor, Shihan Freeman has competed in many Martial Arts tournaments throughout the USA and Canada placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in most and Grand Champion in some. Master Freeman has also boxed as an ameture and a professional. He kickboxed as a professional reaching a Top Ten ranking in in the United States. He is also the holder of Three MArtial Arts Hall of Fame Awards.
